This notice explains how FaceRap handles information when you browse the website, save a draft, create an account or submit a generation task.

Drafts stay on your device

The studio stores your text and settings in local browser storage. A selected photo may be stored in your browser’s IndexedDB to restore it after login. These drafts are not sent to an analytics service. Use “Clear draft” in the studio or clear this site’s browser data to remove them. Drafts and locally saved photos expire 14 days after their last edit and are removed when you next open the studio. Your browser cannot run this cleanup while it is closed.

Accounts

When you create an account, your account name, email, session and authentication details are stored in the application database. Session cookies keep you logged in.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve FaceRap. Google may use analytics cookies to distinguish visits and process technical information such as browser and device details, approximate location and page visits. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google signals. We send page paths with query parameters, fragments and private job IDs removed or replaced, and limit external referrers to their origin. We do not send photos, lyrics, prompts, drafts, filenames, account details, API keys or payment information to analytics. Automated form, site-search, video and outbound-link tracking are disabled.

We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also block analytics using your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For more about Google’s processing, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Photo review

Authorized reviewers inspect submitted photos for a clear single face, adult appearance, public-figure restrictions and declared permission. Uncertain photos are rejected. Photos that pass this review are checked by SeeAPI for explicit content before generation. Automated and human checks can make mistakes; contact support to report a concern.

Uploads

The authenticated upload endpoint stores photos privately and checks their owner before allowing access or deletion. Uploaded photos expire 14 days after upload. Completed videos and related task content expire 14 days after the task ends; unfinished saved ideas expire 14 days after creation. Access stops at expiry. Scheduled cleanup removes media and task content from active storage and retries temporary deletion failures. Keep your downloaded copy before the storage period ends. Choosing a photo for a local draft does not by itself submit that photo for generation.

Necessary account and credit transaction records remain separate from media retention. Hosting backups and generation providers have their own retention and deletion processes; this website’s cleanup does not delete copies held by another provider.

Customer support emails

When you email support@facerap.app, we store the message, email addresses and attachment details to respond to your request. Original emails and attachments are forwarded to our support operator’s Gmail inbox. If forwarding fails, we retain a recovery copy. Support messages are available only to the authorized operator and are never sent to analytics. Do not email passwords, payment card details or sensitive identity documents.
